Contemporary jewellery designer Lauren Davies has just graduated from the University for the Creative Arts. She has an interest in the relationship we have with everyday objects, the memories and feelings they evoke and the attachments we build with them. She explores the way our feelings towards certain objects form an idealistic view with the past. Most recently my work has focused around our relationship with the mechanical, specifically from watch mechanisms apart and drawing inspiration from each individual piece Kinetics have become a focal point in her work with a lot of her pieces featuring moving parts enabling the wearer to interact with the piece.

Lauren Davies's collection includes handmade steampunk earrings, sterling silver necklaces and pocket clips.
